Make Your Own Custom Handwriting Pages

Have you ever wished you could make your own customized handwriting pages? Does your little scholar just need more practice on certain words or letters? Guess what?! You can and it's FREE. That might be one of my bargain-loving little heart's favorite words.
I LOVE handwriting. I know I may be one of the weird ones out there, but I loved, and still do love filling up a page with beautiful writing. My family called me a scriptomaniac (not even sure that's really a word, LOL) because I would write all the time--pages just full of my name and the family's names.
I will most likely start a formal handwriting curriculum with my littles once they start kindergarten (Most likely A Reason for Handwriting, or something like it), but for right now we are just learning how to write and recognize names for fun.
The possibilities are endless when you can customize and tailor your little's handwriting pages. At our house lately we've been working on writing everyone's names and practicing writing numbers. (My 3 year old told me that she couldn't write a 5, because it was "too fivey.")
Once the kiddos get older I'll start making  three or four sentence stories, Scripture, and poetry handwriting pages.

I downloaded the free font KG Primary Dots Lined from DaFont.com to my computer and installed it. I make my handwriting pages with the Open Office writer software--which is the free equivalent to Microsoft Word. I usually use at least 96 point font.

There's also a cursive font you can download here, and you can make custom pages for your older students.
